How to get help.

If you had backup switched on, install herPrivacy on the new phone, sign in with the one-time code sent to your email, and restore with your recovery passphrase. If you did not have backup on, the data existed only on the old phone. That is the direct cost of the guarantee that nobody else could read it.

The backup cannot be recovered — not by you, and not by us. There is no reset path, because any reset we could perform would mean we could read your data. This is stated the same way in the app before you set one.

Unlock with your device biometric if you enrolled one. If you did not, the app offers a choice between exporting your data and wiping it — it will never wipe silently, and there is no server-side reset, because there is nothing on our servers that could perform one.

Both are free, always available, and need no account. Export from Settings → Data → Export (JSON or CSV, generated on your phone). Delete from Settings → Data → Review deletion; it requires typing DELETE and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

That is expected today. The interface is translated into all eight languages; the explanation library is being translated by native speakers, and health copy is not something to machine-translate. Read-aloud stays in English until both halves of an explanation are translated, so the voice never speaks the wrong language.
